Andy is founder and chairman of the Sigma Group, a company with diverse interests across sectors ranging from technology to real estate development. A serial entrepreneur, Andy builds and acquires companies under the Sigma portfolio with a focus on ventures where solid management and operational credentials can be leveraged to achieve long-term value and growth. As Chairman, Andy is instrumental in guiding the company\u2019s investment strategy and in identifying unique business opportunities across various industries and has raised millions of dollars from major Venture Capital and Private Equity firms including Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, Morgan Stanley, Redwood Ventures, Cisco and Birch Hill Equity Partners.<\/p>\n
Prior to founding Sigma in 1994, Andy held a series of senior roles in some of the largest companies in the telecommunications and banking industries in Canada. He began his career in Information Technology in 1975 at Tata Consultancy Services in India.<\/p>\n
Andy spends considerable time supporting cultural and community causes and his work has been recognized with numerous awards including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist award, the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce Technology Achievement Award, IIT-AC Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Fellowship of the Institute of Canadian Bankers Gold Medal. Andy holds a Master of Applied Science degree in Systems Design Engineering from University of Waterloo and a B. The current Chief of Surgery at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and a practising general surgeon for 23 years, he brings a depth of experience in healthcare. A graduate of the Queen\u2019s University School of Medicine, he completed general surgery training at the University of Ottawa and is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of Surgery at McMaster University. He serves on the province of Ontario’s Innovation Sub-Committee, Council on Improving Healthcare and Ending Hallway Medicine and has a depth of knowledge in virtual care. He founded the Oakville Virtual Care Program and has worked with the OMA, OTN and the Ministry of Health in Ontario to advance the healthcare system. Dr. Rozario is on the physician advisory board of the Medical Post, and is an accomplished author whose diverse writings can be found at www.duncanrozario.com \n\nAs the current Chief Medical Officer of Sigma Healthtech, he brings a depth of knowledge in both patient care and experience, as well as an understanding of modern software systems. Aaron is a staff cardiologist at KMH Cardiology Centers with a background in biomedical engineering from Cornell University. He completed his residency training at the University of California Irvine Medical Center and is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology.\n\nHe has been active in academic medicine with publications and editorials in both cardiology and nuclear cardiology.
